I love the angle and how you've managed to reduce the human figure to such beautiful minimalism. The shape is elegant, interesting, and contrasted nicely by the hair. I love the little detail of the black wisp trailing down your neck. My one major critique is the title of the piece. Up to that point it's so unique, so gorgeously different. A cliche name can change the meaning of a photograph completely, and I worry about that happening in this one. I feel your real message is not about sadness, but something far greater. A different title might not be a distraction to that for the viewer. Just a thought. But the title of the piece can't take away it's beauty, and the beauty of this piece is definite. Amazing work.
